    Choc Brownie Baked Oats | Protein + Prebiotics

    Love brownies but hate the added sugar? This high protein, refined sugar free baked oats recipe will hit the spot.

    Made with Swiss Chocolate Supergut Protein, you'll love not only the rich chocolate flavour but your gut will love the added prebiotics like Solnul® to promote good gut health and Lactospore® probiotic to reduce bloating.

    Refined sugar-free | Serves 8

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups organic rolled oats 
    • ½ cup Swiss Chocolate Supergut Protein 
    • 1 tbsp organic cacao powder
    • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • ¼ tsp salt 
    • 2 organic eggs 
    • 1 banana: mashed 
    • ¼ cup pure maple syrup 
    • 1 tsp vanilla essence 
    • 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt 
    • ½ cup chopped pecans: to mix in 
    • ½ cup chopped dark chocolate: to mix in

     

    Method:

    1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius and grease a brownie tin or glass baking dish with coconut oil or butter. Set aside. 
    2. To a large bowl, add the oats, protein, cacao, hemp seeds, baking powder and salt. Mix until well combined. 
    3. In a small bowl or glass jug, add the remaining ingredients and whisk well. 
    4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well. Fold through the pecans and chocolate. 
    5. Bake for 25 minutes or until firm to touch. Leave to cool for 5 minutes. 
    6. Once cooled, slice and serve. Top with Greek yoghurt, fresh berries and more dark chocolate and pecans. Dig in and enjoy! 

    Notes:

    • This is perfect for meal prep! It can store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
