As the weather turns cooler, it's the perfect time to lean into small daily rituals. This lemon ginger tonic takes two minutes to make with ingredients you probably already have on hand, and makes a warm, comforting way to start your morning.

    Ingredients
    • 1 lemon, juiced

    • 1 cup warm water

    • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

    • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

    • 1 teaspoon raw honey or pure maple syrup

    Method
    1. Combine ingredients: Combine the lemon juice, warm water, grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, and raw honey or maple syrup in a glass and stir well.

    2. Serve: Best enjoyed warm, on an empty stomach

    Why This Tonic Works

Lemon is naturally rich in vitamin C and adds a fresh, tangy note that many enjoy first thing in the morning.

Ginger has traditionally been used in warming drinks and adds a gentle, comforting spice on cold days.

Apple cider vinegar is a popular addition to morning tonics, valued for its tangy flavour and long history of everyday use.

Raw honey or maple syrup adds natural sweetness and warmth, balancing the sharpness of the lemon and vinegar.

Together, they make a comforting, flavourful tonic to enjoy as part of your daily routine.
